Creator (Seller) Agreement
This Agreement governs Creators who offer services and receive payouts on Idol. It is the basis on which Idol retains recourse against Creators.
Version 2026-06-18 · Effective June 18, 2026
Identity verification & KYC
7.1Payout-gated verification
Before Idol releases any payout to you, you must complete identity verification to Idol’s satisfaction. You may browse, build a profile, apply to gigs, and be booked before verifying — but no funds will be disbursed to you until verification is APPROVED.
7.2What we collect
Government-issued photo ID; a selfie holding that ID (liveness/ownership check); and an NBI clearance (Philippine police clearance) where applicable. For Creators operating through a registered business or agency, we additionally collect corporate registry documents (SEC/DTI), the legal entity name, owner/director name(s), registration number, and tax identification number.
7.3Ongoing
You authorise Idol to re-verify your identity periodically and upon risk triggers, and to request additional documents. Providing false or altered documents is grounds for immediate termination and fund reversal.
7.4Consent to checks
You consent to Idol and its PSPs verifying your information and screening you against sanctions and watchlists, and to the processing of your personal data for these purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).
Payouts & flow of funds
8.1Escrow
When a Brand pays for a booking, funds are held in escrow by the PSP. Funds are not the Creator’s property until released under §8.3.
8.2Verified payout destination
Payouts are made only to a payout destination registered under your name and verified through the PSP (e.g. GCash/bank via Xendit; Wise via micro-deposit; PayPal via verified email). The account-holder name must match your verified identity. Idol will not pay out to third-party accounts.
8.3Release condition
A payout is released only after (a) the Brand confirms the deliverable (or the review window lapses), AND (b) your identity verification is APPROVED (§7.1). Commission is deducted at release; the balance is disbursed to your verified destination.
8.4No advance payouts
Funds are never released to a Creator before the deliverable is confirmed.
Accurate listings & delivery
9.1Accurate listings
You must accurately describe your services, audience, platforms, and follower metrics. Idol may verify social-account ownership (e.g. one-time code sent from the claimed account) and may review and approve or reject profiles and listings.
9.2Delivery
You must deliver the agreed service to the agreed scope and timing. Failure to deliver as described entitles Idol to withhold or reverse the corresponding escrow funds (§10).
Recourse, clawback & chargebacks
10.1Recourse against the Creator
You are liable to Idol for losses arising from your non-delivery, misrepresentation, fraud, or breach. Idol may, at its discretion: withhold a pending payout; reverse or claw back funds held in escrow before release; offset amounts you owe against current or future payouts; suspend or terminate your account; and recover amounts owed through lawful means.
10.2Chargebacks & disputes
Where a Brand raises a chargeback or dispute, Idol may hold the relevant funds pending resolution. If a chargeback is upheld due to your act or omission, the associated amount (and any fees) is your liability and may be recovered under §10.1.
10.3Cooperation
You agree to cooperate with Idol’s and its PSPs’ investigations and to provide requested documentation.
Sanctions, AML & monitoring
11.1Representations
You represent that you are not sanctioned and will not use Idol to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
11.2Monitoring
You acknowledge that transactions are subject to fraud and AML monitoring by Idol and its PSPs, and that Idol may report suspicious activity to competent authorities and the PSP as required by law.
Taxes
12Your tax responsibility
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes due on amounts you earn through Idol.
Brand (Buyer) Terms — summary
If you use Idol as a Brand, the following buyer terms also apply.
CBrand obligations
Brands agree to fund bookings into escrow up front, confirm deliverables in good faith within the review window, and not transact off-platform. Business Brands may be asked to provide SEC/DTI registration and contact-person details for verification. Chargeback abuse is prohibited and may result in suspension.
